Our Precious Gift from China

How do you say "thank you" to the Chinese people who took care of your son until you got to come and get him? How do you say "thank you" to the Chinese people who facilitated the adoption of your son? We shared our words of thanks, we gave gifts, we took pictures, we shook hands, but truly the only way I can think of to say "thank you" is to ask God to bless them beyond their wildest beliefs. Today, Luke became ours according to China. This precious gift from China!!

Luke slept great our first night with him! I rocked him to sleep after a bottle at 8pm, and he slept in his crib until about 5:15am. Then he cried and when I checked on him, he reached his hands for me, and we put in our bed with us. He fell asleep on me until 6:45am. And look at our little thumb sucker!!
Chinese adoption day is here!
Baba signing
So in love with these two...
Mama signing -- I so love that Abi was there with us through all of the signatures. I wish there was a place for siblings to sign. :) It is so special to bring a new child into your family.

That face!
Family photo after the adoption! (Thank you, Abi, for smiling so beautifully for our first official Robinson family photo! Ahem.)
Two beautiful Chinese women who we are so thankful for: the orphanage nurse (left) and the orphanage assistant director.
Above and below photos -- signing our commitment to China to care for this sweet boy. Yes, joyfully! I love Luke peering on while Baba signs.
