An Evening in the City

We ventured out by ourselves tonight, and it was truly an adventure. To try to find food that has either pictures in the menu to order from, or English subtitles, is not that easy. We didn't find anything with English translation, but we did find one place with pictures. Even so, we ended up with food that we weren't sure what we were eating, and even Abi, our little foodie, did not want to eat it (except the rice). Soooo, I hope none of us get sick. :) We walked around even more after dinner, and found some other great options (that had pictures!) so hopefully we can take ourselves and Luke some other places for dinner throughout the week.

Here are some photos from the evening!

Random picture in local market/grocery store at the mall

Nanjing has a Cold Stone Creamery, but we don't have one in Walla Walla!?

Remember those odd, fun cars we rode in? Here they are at night!

So many motorcycles! China reminds me so much of The Philippines. The air, heat, humidity and motorcycles!

Seemed so random...later at night, a women's group dancing in the middle of one of the mall squares. I loved it!!

I loved all the lights :)

Here is the outside of our hotel. We are walking home from our evening out.

Lights. The red and green lights you see in the distance is one of the malls we went to tonight. It is HUGE. And there is another huge one right next to it. Good night for now, China!
